Ingredients

  • 1 package (18oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1 package (18oz.)refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large apples,cored,peeled and chopped (3 1/2 to 4 cups)
  • 1 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping

How To Make taffy apple bars

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350.Lightly grease 13x9-inch pan.Let packages of dough stand at room temp for 15 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Beat doughs and flour in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.Press dough evenly into bottom of prepared pan.Spoon apples evenly over dough;press down lightly.Sprinkle with peanuts.
  • Step 3
    Bake 35 minutes or until edges are browned and center is firm to the touch.Cool completely in pan on wire rack.Drizzle with caramel topping.Cut into bars.
