1 pkg(18oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 pkg(18oz.)refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
1/2 call-purpose flour
2 largeapples,cored,peeled and chopped (3 1/2 to 4 cups)
1 cchopped peanuts
1/2 ccaramel ice cream topping
How to Make Taffy Apple Bars
- Preheat oven to 350.Lightly grease 13x9-inch pan.Let packages of dough stand at room temp for 15 minutes.
- Beat doughs and flour in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.Press dough evenly into bottom of prepared pan.Spoon apples evenly over dough;press down lightly.Sprinkle with peanuts.
- Bake 35 minutes or until edges are browned and center is firm to the touch.Cool completely in pan on wire rack.Drizzle with caramel topping.Cut into bars.
