Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    (18oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1 pkg
    (18oz.)refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
  • 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 large
    apples,cored,peeled and chopped (3 1/2 to 4 cups)
  • 1 c
    chopped peanuts
  • 1/2 c
    caramel ice cream topping

How to Make Taffy Apple Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.Lightly grease 13x9-inch pan.Let packages of dough stand at room temp for 15 minutes.
  2. Beat doughs and flour in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.Press dough evenly into bottom of prepared pan.Spoon apples evenly over dough;press down lightly.Sprinkle with peanuts.
  3. Bake 35 minutes or until edges are browned and center is firm to the touch.Cool completely in pan on wire rack.Drizzle with caramel topping.Cut into bars.
