  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter (i use jiff)
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 large
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 c
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 pkg
    heart shaped chocolates

How to Make Sweet “Heart” Peanut Blossoms


  1. In food processor or large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla and blend well.
  3. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well blended. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet and bake 8 minutes at 375*. Remove from oven and place chocolate hearts in center of each cookie, gently pressing into each cookie. Return to oven and bake 2 minutes longer.

    Cool on wire rack.
