Ingredients

2 1/4 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt (optional)
1 c
butter, softened (2 sticks)
3/4 c
granulated sugar
3/4 c
packed brown sugar
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 large
eggs
2 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 c
coarsely broken rippled potato chips
1 c
small pretzels twists,broken into 1/2 pieces
1/2 c
unsalted peanuts (optional)

How to Make Sweet and Salty Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 375
  • 2Combine flour,baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter,sugar,brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs,one at a time,beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips,potato chips, pretzel pieces and peanuts. Drop by rounded tbsp onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • 3Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
