Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup coconut, flaked

Step 1In large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter, baking powder, baking soda & vanilla.

Step 2Beat at low speed, scraping bowl, until well mixed, 3-4 minutes.

Step 3Stir in coconut. Divide dough into halves. Wrap in waxed paper & refrigerate.

Step 4Refrigerate until firm, atleast 2 hours. Roll into balls & place atleast 2 inches apart.

Step 5Heat oven to 350.

Step 6Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Step 7Bake 9 - 14 minutes.
