This recipe is yummy with a special surprise of chocolate covered raisinets, instead of your regular raisins.

Ingredients For surprise oatmeal cookies

  • 11/4 c
    . unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 c
    old fashioned oatmeal
  • 2 box
    chocolate raisinets

How To Make surprise oatmeal cookies

    In a medium bowl,combine your butter and your sugars and beat till light and fluffy.Add your egg and vanilla extract, and beat well.

    Add your flour,baking soda,cinnamon,nutmeg and your salt.Mix well

    Add in your 3 cups of oatmeal,mix well

    Add in your 2 boxes of chocolate raisinets and mix well

    Drop by Tablespoons on an ungreased cookie sheet at about 2inches apart at 375 degr.for 10-12 mins

    Cool on a wire rack
