super soft sugar cookies
I got this recipe from the teacher I student taught with. These cookies are so amazingly soft. They aren't too sweet, which I prefer. Great holiday staple.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 5 1/2 cups flour
How To Make super soft sugar cookies

Step 1Cream butter and sugar in mixer. Beat in eggs, vanilla, sour cream, soda, salt. Scrape sides and make sure well blended. Add flour a cup at a time, mixing well. Chill 20 minutes.

Step 2Roll out and cut into shapes. Only roll out dough 3 times, more than that and the dough becomes tough. Bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes until very light brown. Cool completely.
