super soft chocolate chip cookies
These are my 7 year old's favorite cookies ever! They stay soft for about days if kept in an air tight container, but they never last that long :)

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup shortening, butter flavor
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 1 package large package chocolate chips (we like alot of chocolate chips :) )

Step 1Cream butter, shortening and sugars (brown and white) until light and fluffy. Add egss, vanilla, baking soda and salt, add 2-1/2 cups flour then mix, then add the remaining flour and mix thoroughly. Add chocolate chips (or get a little baker to do this part, mine loves doing it). Drop by teaspoonful onto baking sheet and bake at 350 for about 7 minutes (or until golden brown) let cool, then enjoy!! Perfect with milk, coffee, hot chocolate, and with ice cream in between two of them :)
