I prefer a soft cookie and these hit the mark! My mom used to make these for all of the holidays.

1 cup butter (softened)
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 - eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups all purpose flour

How To Make sugar cookies

Step 1

Heat oven to 350°. Cream butter & sugar; add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Roll out, cut and bake 8-10 minutes.
