How to Make Sugar Cookies
- 1Preheat oven to 350
- 2Throughly cream vegetable oil, butter and both sugars.
Add vanilla and eggs.
- 3Sift dry ingredients. Stir in and blend. (I use my stand mixer on low for 30 seconds, then on medium speed just until mixed together).
- 4Roll a teaspoon of soft dough into a ball. Roll ball in granulated sugar. (I color or buy the sugar depending on the holiday or time of year).
- 5Press down on a lightly greased cookie sheet with a glass tumbler (use the bottom greased with a little dough), then dip the tumbler in granulated sugar.
