strawberry delights
I make these cookies every April 1st for my friend Jonathan's birthay. I make a double batch, we eat them at work and he gets to take the the rest home to his family, which they look forward to.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 - large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup dried strawberries
- 1/2 cup vanilla or white chocolate chips
How To Make strawberry delights

Step 1Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars until smooth. Add the egg, vanilla, salt and baking soda. Scrape down sides of the bowl to incorporate ingredients. Add flour, mix, scrape sides again and when blended, add strawberries and white chips.

Step 2Drop the dough by large tablespoons onto cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes until the edges look golden. Cool on rack and store in air tight container.
