Ingredients

  • 1 package oreo cookies
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 package chocolate bark
  • - candy sprinkles

How To Make strawberries & cream oreo truffles

  • Step 1
    Using a food processor {or rolling pin and quart sized baggie}, pulverize the cookies until they are medium to fine crumbs. {the smaller the pieces, the easier it is to work with}
  • Step 2
    Add the crumbs to a large bowl with the softened cream cheese and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Roll the mix between your hands, into small balls and place on a piece of wax paper.
  • Step 4
    Place the balls into the fridge to chill for at least an hour. {Note: This step is not optional, the balls will melt as soon as you put them in the chocolate if you don't chill them well first. I learned this the hard way. I am very impatient.}
  • Step 5
    Using your microwave, melt the chocolate bark, in a large bowl according to the package directions. {Add food coloring if you want}
  • Step 6
    Using a spoon, roll the well chilled Oreo balls into the melted chocolate bark until it's well covered and place onto a piece of waxed paper. Obviously, do this with all the balls. - See more at: http://www.midlifemommyadventures.com/1/post/2013/06/strawberries-cream-oreo-truffles.html
