1Preheat oven to 375. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside.
2In a large bowl stir together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in dry ingredients. Roll out and shape as you like.
3Bake 8-10 minutes in preheated oven or until golden brown and keep on cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then move to cooling rack. Decorate as desired.
4For the frosting, mix sugar and enough milk with a teaspoon of almond extract to make the frosting thin so you can just dip the cookie top into the frosting to coat it smoothly.
