You can add a little nutmeg to the recipe for added eggnog flavor. You might try adding a little more rum too.

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1-8oz. package cream cheese, room temperature
2 tablespoons eggnog
2 teaspoons rum extract

How To Make spiked eggnog cookies

Step 1

Beat cream cheese until fluffy.

Step 2

Add cake mix and beat on low until well blended.
Step 3

Add eggnog and rum and beat until well blended. Scrap sides of bowl as needed.
Step 4

Drop by spoon fulls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degress for 8-10 minutes. Cookies will be light in color.
