sour cream-milk chocolate chip cookies
I have had this recipe in my magazine recipe clipping collections for some time now. I just made it for Christmas and got rave reviews. It is from an unknown newspaper. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream (i used light)
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - egg
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 11 1/2 ounces package milk chocolate morsels

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or spray lightly with cooking spray. Mix sugar, sour cream, margarine/butter, shortening, vanilla and egg in large bowl.

Step 2Stir in flour baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Bake 12-14 minutes or until just beginning to brown. Cool slightly on baking sheet before removing to wire racks.
