sour cream-milk chocolate chip cookies

I have had this recipe in my magazine recipe clipping collections for some time now. I just made it for Christmas and got rave reviews. It is from an unknown newspaper. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (i used light)
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 11 1/2 ounces package milk chocolate morsels

How To Make sour cream-milk chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or spray lightly with cooking spray. Mix sugar, sour cream, margarine/butter, shortening, vanilla and egg in large bowl.
  • Step 2
    Stir in flour baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Bake 12-14 minutes or until just beginning to brown. Cool slightly on baking sheet before removing to wire racks.
