sour cream cut-outs
We love to make these cookies at Christmas, but they are good anytime of the year. You can even freeze them and they taste great. We color the icing with food coloring.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 5 cups flou
How To Make sour cream cut-outs

Step 1Cream butter, sugar, & sour cream together.

Step 2Add & mix almond & vanilla extracts.

Step 3Add & mix baking powder, soda and flour.

Step 4Chill dough at least two hours. Roll out dough on a floured surface about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out cookies with desired cookie cutters.

Step 5Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees, on lowest rack for 8 minutes or until edges are just starting to turn light brown,

Step 6Add icing and decorations. Icing: Mix 3 cups powdered sugar 1/3 cups butter 2 T. milk
