Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 can (21 ounces) cherry fruit filling
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 3/4 cup sliced toasted almonds
How To Make sour cream cherry bars

Step 1For crust: in large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar and butter. Beat at low speed until mixture is crumbly, 2 to 3 minutes. Press on bottom of ungreased 9 X 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Step 2FILLING: In a medium bowl, stir together fruit filling, sour cream, and almond extract. Spread over hot crust. Sprinkle nuts over top. Continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are bubbly. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store, covered, in refrigerator.
