soft sugar cookies

Another of the recipes from my friend Kina's family. I remember her Grandma making these for us...I am assuming that the sour cream was mixed into the cookie (and there was no baking time or temp given, so I am thinking 350 degrees and about 8 min? but would check after 6).

Ingredients For soft sugar cookies

  • 4 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    sour cream

How To Make soft sugar cookies

  • 1
    Grease baking sheet. Oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugar, add dry ingredients a little at a time adding sour cream into a crater.
