This is a favorite that I never think to make as often as I should. These cookies will stay soft and freeze well.

Ingredients
- 1 stick margerine or butter
- 1/2 cup butter flavor shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
How To Make soft snickerdoodle cookies

Step 1preheat oven to 350

Step 2Mix butter, 1 1/2 c.sugar and eggs thoroughly in large bowl until fluffly.

Step 3Combine flour, cream of tarter,baking soda, and salt in seperate bowl.

Step 4Blend dry ingredients into butter mixture, just until well combined don't over beat.

Step 5Chill dough,and baking sheets for 10-15 min.

Step 6Combine 3 Tbs. sugar and 3tsp. cinnamon in small bowl.

Step 7Scoop 1" balls of dough into sugar mixture and gently roll to coat balls

Step 8Place balls on ungreased chilled baking sheets and bake 9-10 min.

Step 9Remove from sheet immediately on to cooling racks
