Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup molasses
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make soft molasses cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2Cream margarine and sugar until well blended. Add eggs and beat well. Add molasses and beat to combine.

Step 3Add remaining ingredients. Combine well into ball.

Step 4Chill dough for at least one hour

Step 5Roll teaspoons of dough into balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheets. These cookies will spread so be careful not to crowd them.

Step 6Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Allow to cool. Keep in airtight container.
