I have had this recipe for as long as i can remember,i don't know where i got it.It's the best ever gingersnap cookie.

  • 1 1/2 c
    all - purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 2
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 1/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
    dark molasses

How to Make Soft Gingersnaps


  1. Combine flour,baking soda,cinnamon,cloves,ginger and salt.
  2. Combine the eggs sugars and molasses mix well.
    Add todry ingredients mix well.
  3. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray.
    Bake 350* for 8 to 10 minutes, cool on pans for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely Yield 3 dozen
