We had these at a family gathering , a member of my sister-in-laws family brought them to the gathering. They are so moist and flavorful we couldn't stop eating them.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup crisco
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 - egg beaten
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 cup dark molasses

How To Make soft gingersnaps

Step 1Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg. Beat well. Sift together dry ingredients , an add to wet ingredients mixing well after each addition.Roll into small balls then roll in extra sugar.

Step 2Place 2" apart on cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes . Remove to cooling rack and let cool for 10 minutes . Eat and enjoy!!
