soft ginger bread cookies
There are so many things I love about these cookies! I love the crackled tops and I love that they're a soft cookie and I love the ginger bread flavor! This is just one of my favorite cookies! I've made them many times! I got this recipe from a foodie named Michellem but I changed it to suit my own tastes.

How To Make soft ginger bread cookies
-
Step 1Combine butter, sugar, molasses, egg and vanilla...beat well.
-
Step 2Combine dry ingredients and add to above mixture a little at a time to form a firm dough. You may not need the entire amount.
-
Step 3Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheets. Press down slightly to form into a disk.
-
Step 4Bake at 350* for 8-10 min.
-
Step 5I always double this recipe because they go so fast!
-
Step 6These cookies do not taste good warm. I always wait til they're fully cooled to eat them.
