soft chocolate chip cookies

These cookies are the best. Everytime I make them they are gone in no time. I have been making these cookies for 25 years and can't find a recipe that compares to it. They are soft and chewy and stay soft if you keep them in a airtight container. My 2nd mom in Ky shared this recipe with me, and she always said don't forget the love in everything you make.RIP, mama G.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 small package instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

How To Make soft chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl combind first 3 ingredients. Mix with mixer until smooth. then add eggs and pudding, mix again until smooth. Then start adding the flour little at a time until all stired in. Use a big wooden spoon. Then add your Chocolate Chips. You can also add Peanut Butter Chips.
  • Step 2
    Drop on ungreased cookie sheet about 1 in big. They will spread just a little. Bake at 350 until light brown on edges. Don't over bake.
