soft and chewy pudding mix chocolate chip cookies

I love this recipe because the cookies come out just like the title says...soft and chewy. If by chance your cookies do start to get hard you can add a slice of white bread in your cookie jar and magically they resoften. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips

How To Make soft and chewy pudding mix chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Mix flour and baking soda; set aside.
  • Step 3
    Combine butter and sugars, vanilla and pudding mix and beat with and electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs.
  • Step 4
    Gradually add flour mixture and stir in chocolate chips.
  • Step 5
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Can also use chocolate instant pudding mix for chocolate chocolate chip cookies.
