  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar packed
  • 1 1/2 cups butter softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 package chocolate chips

How To Make soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375
  • Step 2
    Beat sugar, brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy
  • Step 3
    Add vanilla and eggs - blend well
  • Step 4
    Add flour, baking soda and salt - mix well
  • Step 5
    Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Step 6
    Drop dough by rounded tablespoon full 2 inches apart onto a ungreased cookie sheet
  • Step 7
    Bake 8-10 minutes
