My son Brett always loved these cookies. He submitted this recipe to the newspaper when he was in elementary school. Brett is now a college student. When you try them you will see why he loves them. I usually double this recipe, because there is never enough.

How to Make Snowball Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. In a large mixer bowl, combine flour, nuts, granulated sugar, butter & vanilla.
  3. Beat at low spped, scraping bowl often, until well mixed, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1 inch balls.
  5. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. I prefer parchment paper on cookie sheet, for easy clean up.
