How To Make snickerdoodles, omg joann, drool

• Step 1
  1 c shortening (I am going to try with unsalted butter) 1 1/2 c sugar 2 eggs Mix well.
• Step 2
  Sift and stir in: 2 3/4 c flour 2 tsp cream of tartar 1 tsp soda 1/2 tsp salt
• Step 3
  Chill dough after rolling into small balls.
• Step 4
  Roll in mixture of: 2 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp cinnamon
• Step 5
  Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheets.
• Step 6
  Note, did a triple batch, didn't fit in the kitchenaid. Also used the jar Crisco, next time use bars. Less messy that way. And I used the cinnamon sugar in container pre mixed, not dark enough. My cookies were so big it took 15 min to bake. Also, want to add frosting or drizzle next time. :)
