Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - ^^ mix together above ingredients, adding (sifted) dry ingredients to creamed mixture
- 2 3/4 cups flour, sifted
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar mixed w/ 3/4 tsp cinnamon
How To Make snickerdoodles

Step 1Roll into balls. Roll in mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 3/4 tsp cinnamon. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 deg. for 8-10 Min until lightly browned. but still soft.
