snickerdoodles
These are a fabulous snickerdoodle cookie. I like to make my cinnamon sugar with a little more cinnamon then it calls for.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup plus 2 tbs. sugar, divided
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make snickerdoodles

Step 1In a large bowl, cream butter and 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.

Step 2Combine the flour, baking soda, and cream of tarter; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Step 3In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and remaining sugar.

Step 4Shape dough into 1" balls; roll in cinnamon sugar. Place 2" apart on an ungreased baking sheet.

Step 5Bake at 375* for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to a wire rack.
