These are a fabulous snickerdoodle cookie. I like to make my cinnamon sugar with a little more cinnamon then it calls for.

Ingredients For snickerdoodles

1/2 cbutter, softened

1 cplus 2 tbs. sugar, divided

1egg

1/2 tspvanilla

1 1/2 call purpose flour

1/4 tspbaking soda

1/4 tspcream of tarter

1 tspcinnamon
How To Make snickerdoodles

1In a large bowl, cream butter and 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.

2Combine the flour, baking soda, and cream of tarter; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.

3In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and remaining sugar.

4Shape dough into 1" balls; roll in cinnamon sugar. Place 2" apart on an ungreased baking sheet.

5Bake at 375* for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to a wire rack.
