snickerdoodle cookies
My favorite snickerdoodles recipe. A friend of mine shared this in our church cookbook. I've made them many times and they come out perfect & delicious every time. I hope many people enjoy these as much as my family & friends!

Makes approximately 4 dozen
Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
How To Make snickerdoodle cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping often until well mixed (2-4 minutes). In a small bowl, combine the 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake until edges are lightly browned (8 to 10 minutes). Makes approximately 4 dozen.
