We love these cookies during the holiday season!They're easy to make and easier to eat!!!

yield makes 24 but you may need to make more!!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature. plus two large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • FOR THE COATING
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

How To Make snicker-doodles for the holiday"s!

  • Step 1
    Place your cookie sheet pan in the refrigerator. Cream together the butter,1-1/2 cups of sugar and then eggs. Mix together the flour,baking soda and salt.
  • Step 2
    Add the dry ingredients to the butter/sugar mixture and mix until incorporated.
  • Step 3
    Using your hand or a tablespoon,form 1 inch balls of dough,roll them in the sugar and place them on the cookie sheet two inches apart.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees,bake for ten minutes or so.Remove to a wire rack for cooling,(if you can make it that far!)and enjoy your snicker-doodles!!!!:)
