Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter, room temperature. plus two large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • FOR THE COATING

  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 3 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 pinch
    nutmeg

How to Make Snicker-doodles For The Holiday"s!

Step-by-Step

  1. Place your cookie sheet pan in the refrigerator.
    Cream together the butter,1-1/2 cups of sugar and then eggs.

    Mix together the flour,baking soda and salt.
  2. Add the dry ingredients to the butter/sugar mixture and mix until incorporated.
  3. Using your hand or a tablespoon,form 1 inch balls of dough,roll them in the sugar and place them on the cookie sheet two inches apart.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees,bake for ten minutes or so.Remove to a wire rack for cooling,(if you can make it that far!)and enjoy your snicker-doodles!!!!:)
