This is the recipe that grew up making with my mom. It is so easy and they turn out so delicious!

yield Makes 2 Dozen

Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 - eggs
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar cinnamon mixture

How To Make snicker doodles

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs untill fluffy
Step 3

In another bowl mix flour, soda, and salt.
Step 4

Add dry mix to sugar mix and refidgerate about 1 hour
Step 5

Roll into balls and roll through sugar/cinna mixture. Place on cookie sheet and bake about 10 min.
Step 6

Enjoy with your favorite cup of tea or coffee!
