I got this recipe from a Borden Eagle Brand flyer from the 40's. It was in some things I got from my grandmother. These are amazing cookies if you like soft and chewy and almost like candy! I made them often when my kids were growing up.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 can(s)
sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c
peanut butter

ADD ONE OR TWO OF THE FOLLOWING.

1 c
chocolate chips
2 c
raisins
3 c
shredded coconut
2 c
bran or corn flakes
1 c
chopped nuts
2 c
chopped dates

How to Make Six Way Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix milk and peanut until well blended. Add one (I always did 2) of the other ingredients.
  • 2Drop by spoonfuls on the cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until brown.
  • 3Remove from cookie sheet immediately. Cool and eat.
  • 4I usually ended up using the chocolate chips and corn flakes. I would be willing to try more ingredients but just using less of each. These really are good.
