I got this recipe from a Borden Eagle Brand flyer from the 40's. It was in some things I got from my grandmother. These are amazing cookies if you like soft and chewy and almost like candy! I made them often when my kids were growing up.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 15 Min
method Bake
yield 2-3 dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • ADD ONE OR TWO OF THE FOLLOWING.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 3 cups shredded coconut
  • 2 cups bran or corn flakes
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups chopped dates

How To Make six way cookies

  • Step 1
Mix milk and peanut until well blended. Add one (I always did 2) of the other ingredients.
  • Step 2
Drop by spoonfuls on the cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until brown.
  • Step 3
Remove from cookie sheet immediately. Cool and eat.
  • Step 4
I usually ended up using the chocolate chips and corn flakes. I would be willing to try more ingredients but just using less of each. These really are good.
