six way cookies
(1 RATING)
I got this recipe from a Borden Eagle Brand flyer from the 40's. It was in some things I got from my grandmother. These are amazing cookies if you like soft and chewy and almost like candy! I made them often when my kids were growing up.

Ingredients
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- ADD ONE OR TWO OF THE FOLLOWING.
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 cups raisins
- 3 cups shredded coconut
- 2 cups bran or corn flakes
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 cups chopped dates
How To Make six way cookies
-
Step 1Mix milk and peanut until well blended. Add one (I always did 2) of the other ingredients.
-
Step 2Drop by spoonfuls on the cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until brown.
-
Step 3Remove from cookie sheet immediately. Cool and eat.
-
Step 4I usually ended up using the chocolate chips and corn flakes. I would be willing to try more ingredients but just using less of each. These really are good.
