Ingredients
- 1/2 pound butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons farina
- 2 1/2 cups flour
How To Make shortbread cookie

Step 1Mix butter and sugar.

Step 2Add farina and gradually add flour. Knead dough till firm and roll into ball (can refrigerate prior to rolling). Cut ball into 4 and roll into logs. Slice and put on buttered cookiesheet 2" apart.

Step 3Pierce with fork and cook at 250-300 till slightly colored. Sprinkle with sugar whilst cooling.
