Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening(half butter or margarine)
- 1 cup sifted,confectioner's sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1-2 teaspoon vanilla extract or peppermint
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons green food coloring
- green decorative sprinkles

Step 1heat oven 375' mix shortening,sugar,egg,flavoring

Step 2measure flour,salt,food coloring mix

Step 3to shape make 3 balls(1/4 tsp.) and a stem press with finger flatten complete 1 at a time to prevent dry and cracking bake 9 mins. makes 9 dozen don't forget to sprinkle with decorative sprinkles!
