  • 1 c
    sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c
  • 2 c
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 3/4 c
    butter /margarine
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Sesame Seed Crisps


  1. Toast sesame seeds and coconut in 350° oven till browned.(I buy them already toasted to save time )
  2. Cream butter and sugar ; Add egg and vanilla to the creamed mixture ; beat well.
  3. Add sesame seeds and coconut.
  4. Blend in the dry ingredients ; mix thoroughly.
  5. Shape dough into balls and flatten to 1/8" thickness.
  6. Bake @ 350° for 10-12 minutes.
