My mom made these all the time when I was growing up. It is still one of my favorite cookie recipes.

Makes 2-3 dozen
Ingredients
- 2 cups butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon (mixed)
- 4 teaspoons almond extract
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 2/3 teaspoon salt
- - sesame seeds
- - raspberry preserves
How To Make sesame cookies with raspberry preserves

Step 1Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 2Blend in extracts.

Step 3Add flour and salt, mix well.

Step 4Shape into small balls, roll in sesame seeds.

Step 5Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Indent centers, fill with preserves.

Step 6Bake @ 400 F for 10-12 minutes (cookies will stay light color).
