How to Make Scotch Shortbread
- 1Beat butter until soft.
- 2Add sugar and almond extract and beat until smooth.
- 3Add flour and salt, and mix well.
- 4Press dough evenly in 11 x 7 x 2-inch pan and mark in 1-1/2 inch squares with a fork.
- 5Bake in 375 degree oven 25 minutes.
- 6Cut along markings while hot and cool in pan.
