Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 1/2 teaspoons all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make scotch shortbread

Step 1Beat butter until soft.

Step 2Add sugar and almond extract and beat until smooth.

Step 3Add flour and salt, and mix well.

Step 4Press dough evenly in 11 x 7 x 2-inch pan and mark in 1-1/2 inch squares with a fork.

Step 5Bake in 375 degree oven 25 minutes.

Step 6Cut along markings while hot and cool in pan.
