I've made these for years. Family favorite. Great at holiday time. But don't wait for a holiday. It's great in summer as it is no bake and less than five minutes on the stove. Great party pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter (crunchy or creamy works)
  • 2 cups cheerios (honey nut or regular)

How To Make saucepan peanut cookies

  • Step 1
    Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil. Remove from heat.
  • Step 2
    Add peanut butter and stir until well blended. Add cereal and mix carefully until coated.
  • Step 3
    Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper. Let cool and enjoy.
