I've made these for years. Family favorite. Great at holiday time. But don't wait for a holiday. It's great in summer as it is no bake and less than five minutes on the stove. Great party pleaser.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup peanut butter (crunchy or creamy works)
- 2 cups cheerios (honey nut or regular)
How To Make saucepan peanut cookies

Step 1Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil. Remove from heat.

Step 2Add peanut butter and stir until well blended. Add cereal and mix carefully until coated.

Step 3Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper. Let cool and enjoy.
