How to Make Santa's Whiskers Cookies
1Cream together butter and sugar; blend in milk and vanilla extract.
2Stir in flour, cherries and pecans.
3Form into 2 "logs" - each about 2" in diameter and 8" long.
Roll in coconut.
Wrap in wax paper and chill several hours or overnight. (Can be frozen at this point, too).
4Slice chilled cookie dough 1/4" thick; place on ungreased or parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until edges are golden.
