1 cbutter, softened
1 tspvanilla extract
2 1/2 call purpose flour, sifted
3/4 ceach, red and green candied cherries
1/2 cpecans, in pieces
3/4 ccoconut, flaked
How to Make Santa's Whiskers Cookies
- Cream together butter and sugar; blend in milk and vanilla extract.
- Stir in flour, cherries and pecans.
- Form into 2 "logs" - each about 2" in diameter and 8" long.
Roll in coconut.
Wrap in wax paper and chill several hours or overnight. (Can be frozen at this point, too).
- Slice chilled cookie dough 1/4" thick; place on ungreased or parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until edges are golden.
