Chocolate and salt... the ultimate combination? Possibly! These are especially delicious with the hint of orange and ginger.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Take your chocolate chip cookies to the next level with this easy recipe. They're thin and crispy, yet still cake-like. Using dark chocolate chips still adds sweetness but it also adds a touch of bitter flavor that semi-sweet chocolate chips don't have. The dark chocolate chips with the hint of orange (thanks to zest and juice) are a wonderful flavor combination. A little sprinkle of sea salt on top after baking is another way these chocolate chip cookies are elevated.
