    shortening
  • 2 1/4 c
    sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    nuts
  • powered sugar for coating

How To Make russian tea balls

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together all ingredients well.

    Make balls about the size of small walnuts. Bake for 14-17 minutes.

    Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
