My family @ friends can't get enough of these cookies at Christmas. This recipe has been handed down from my grandmother and from her mother.

Ingredients
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon brandy liqueir
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2'' - salad oil to deep fry
- - powdered sugar
How To Make russian christmas cookies

Step 1Mix eggs with sugar. Add melted butter,brandy,salt,2 cups flour and mix. Stir in enough additional flour to make stiff dough. Wrap in waxed paper refrigerate 1 hour or longer.

Step 2Heat about 2" oil to 365* in deep fryer.

Step 3On lightly floured surface roll dough paper-thin. Cut into 3" long diamonds. Make slit in center of each diamond pull one corner through slit.

Step 4Fry until golden brown. Cool on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy
