How to Make Russian Christmas cookies
1Mix eggs with sugar. Add melted butter,brandy,salt,2 cups flour and mix. Stir in enough additional flour to make stiff dough. Wrap in waxed paper refrigerate 1 hour or longer.
2Heat about 2" oil to 365* in deep fryer.
3On lightly floured surface roll dough paper-thin. Cut into 3" long diamonds. Make slit in center of each diamond pull one corner through slit.
4Fry until golden brown. Cool on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy
