I found this recipe in my Campbell cookbook cooking with soup. I love this cookbook. The cookies were very moist and good. They had a nip of spice taste to them and were a hit with my hubby.

    flour
  • 1 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • 1 c
    shortening
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed tomato soup
  • 2 c
    uncooked rolled oats
  • 1 c
    seedless raisins
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Rosy Rock Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift dry ingredients except oats, raisins and walnuts. In mixer add shortening, egg, and soup. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping sides and bottom of bowl constantly. Stir in oats, raisins, and walnuts.
  2. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake about 15 minutes until lightly browned.
