This cookie comes from my ex-brother in-law's mother,and it's been around for a long time.This is an awesome cookie, a little expensive to bake but oh so worth it.

white sugar
1 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 c
cooking oil
1 c
butter
1
egg
1 Tbsp
miracle whip or whatever salad dressing you use
3 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
baking soda
1 c
oatmeal, quick oats
1 bottle
marachino cherries, chopped
1 c
crushed corn flakes
2 1/2 c
walnuts, chopped
1 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make Rosie Oasterhouse Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cream together the first 6 ingredients, then add the other ingredients. Mix well until it is all incorporated.
  • 2Pre-heat oven to 350. Drop by spoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes or until they are a light golden brown.
