Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinammon
  • 4 Tbsp
    unsalted butter
  • 1/3 c
    unsalted pistachios
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    rose water
  • 2 Tbsp
    rose petals
  • ICING

  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    plum jelly
  • 2 tsp
    rose water

How to Make ROSE PETAL SCONES

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 425F. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cinammon.
  2. Cut in the butter, and mix until coarse crumbs. Stir in the pistachios.
  3. In a seperate bowl, combine the cream and the rosewater. Stir in the shredded rose petals. Add the cream rose mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
