root beer float bars
These bars are quite fragrant and so delicious! The taste of the Root Beer really come through. I personally think the main ingredient for this recipe is the root beer extract (or) concentrate.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 (3.4 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 teaspoons root beer extract (or) concentrate
- 2-¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (i used nestle premier white morsels.)
How To Make root beer float bars

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350° F.

Step 2Line an 8”x 8” baking pan with parchment paper. Leaving an overhang on all four sides.

Step 3In a large bowl cream together, the butter and sugars.

Step 4Mix in the dry pudding mix.

Step 5Add the eggs, root beer extract, and mix until well combined.

Step 6Now add the flour and baking soda, mix until incorporated.

Step 7Stir in the white chocolate chips.

Step 8Press the cookie batter as evenly as possible into the prepared baking pan.

Step 9Bake in oven for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle, come out clean.

Step 10Cool for 20 minutes.

Step 11Use the parchment overhang, lift the baked pan of bars out of the pan, and onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 12Using a serrated knife, cut into 12 bars.

Step 13Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to one week.
