I have checked out different cranberry-white chocolate cookie recipes and haven't found one I liked, so I took my Granny's Oatmeal-Raisin Cookie recipe and used cranberrys and white chocolate morsels instead of the raisins. My friends love them!

butter-flavored crisco
1 c
white sugar
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/2 c
unbleached white flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
3/4 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1/4 tsp
nutmeg, ground
3 c
oats, quick cooking
2/3 c
dried cranberries
2/3 c
vanilla or white chocolate chips

How to Make Roni's Cranberry-White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Combine eggs, crisco, white and brown sugars and vanilla with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
  • 3In a seperate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and spices. Slowly add to creamed mixture and stir with a wooden spoon. Add oats; stir. Add cranberries and chocolate chips and stir again. Roll into walnut-sized balls, coat with white sugar and flatten slightly with a fork.
  • 4Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes or until slightly brown around the edges. Cool on cookie sheet for 1/2 minute. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
  • 5Makes about 4 dozen.
