rocky road oatmeal cookies
This is another lost recipe that I'm so grateful to have found. It was published in 1999 in a church cookbook and I recently found the cookbook.

Ingredients
- 3 cups uncooked oatmeal
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup malted milk powder
- 1/2 teaspoon each: cinnamon, ground ginger, baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon each: ground cloves, nutmeg, salt
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup raisins, chopped
- 1 cup miniature chocolate chips
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
How To Make rocky road oatmeal cookies

Step 1Lightly grease cookie sheets.

Step 2Combine dry ingredients; mix well and set aside.

Step 3Beat sugars, butter, vanilla and egg until smooth.

Step 4Gradually add dry ingredients; blend.

Step 5Fold in raisins, chocolate, marshmallows and nuts.

Step 6Form rounded balls of dough from a tablespoon.

Step 7Place each ball 1-1/2" apart onto prepared cookie sheets.

Step 8Bake 14 minutes (for chewy cookie) or 17 minutes (for crispy cookies)

Step 9Remove from oven and let cool on sheet for 1 minute.

Step 10Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
