Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies
It's not my recipe but thought I would post it thinkin people would't see it on the box. Hope you like them.
- 6 Tbsp
- 1 c
- powdered sugar
- 1 tsp
- corn starch
- 1 box
- duncan hines signature red velvet cake mix
- 2 large
- 1 tsp
- lemon zest, grated
How to Make Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies
- 1PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter, set aside to cool. In small bowl place powdered sugar and corn starch. With a fork stir together to mix.
- 2PLACE cake mix, cooled butter, eggs, and lemon zest in a large mixing bowl. Mix well by hand till a dough forms. Form dough into one inch balls and roll balls in powdered sugar mixture. Place on cool in greased cookie sheet two inches apart.
- 3BAKE one sheet at a time in center of oven. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Cool for 1 minute and transfer to cooling rack. Store in container with wax paper or parchment paper between layers.
