red velvet crinkle cookies
This recipe was on a Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cake Mix. They looked good an so I made them an they are good. Very easy to make. It's not my recipe but thought I would post it thinkin people would't see it on the box. Hope you like them.

Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1 box duncan hines signature red velvet cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
How To Make red velvet crinkle cookies

Step 1PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter, set aside to cool. In small bowl place powdered sugar and corn starch. With a fork stir together to mix.

Step 2PLACE cake mix, cooled butter, eggs, and lemon zest in a large mixing bowl. Mix well by hand till a dough forms. Form dough into one inch balls and roll balls in powdered sugar mixture. Place on cool in greased cookie sheet two inches apart.

Step 3BAKE one sheet at a time in center of oven. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Cool for 1 minute and transfer to cooling rack. Store in container with wax paper or parchment paper between layers. ENJOY!!
